1. What GenuineRate is
GenuineRate compares the prices in quotes, bills and products with indicative market ranges for your area, and gives you tools to estimate costs and plan purchases. Ranges come from price lists, researched rates, prices other users paid and AI estimates, and every report shows where its numbers came from.
2. Information, not professional advice
Reports, estimates and AI answers are for information and negotiation only. We are not engineers, architects, lawyers or financial advisers. Check important decisions — structural design, safety, contracts and payments — with a qualified professional.
3. No guarantee
Prices vary with brand, quantity, location, timing and site conditions, and AI can misread documents. We work to keep our data accurate but can't guarantee any result, saving or outcome. A price above the typical range doesn't mean anyone acted in bad faith.
4. Your responsibilities
- Upload only documents you're entitled to share, and check that what you upload or type is accurate.
- You're responsible for your dealings with contractors and shops. Please be polite — our messages are written that way.
- Recommendations must be honest and based on your own experience. We may edit or remove any recommendation.
- Don't misuse the service: no scraping, automated bulk use, attempts to break security, or unlawful content.
5. What you upload
You keep ownership of your documents. You allow us to store and process them to provide the service, and to use prices from them without names to improve the rates we show — see the privacy policy.
6. Price
GenuineRate is free during early access. If we introduce charges, we'll tell you clearly before they apply to you.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, GenuineRate isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for disputes, refused work or financial losses arising from how you use our information.
8. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
